Carroll (1931)"The Trail of Blood." is a classic series of lectures by J.M Carroll on Baptist history showing unbroken heritage back to the apostolic period, and highlighting the pursecution endured through the ages. I discovered these lectures in the 1990's and found them to be highly engaging, thought-provoking, and personally rather moving. I keep a printed copy on my bookshelf in my Church History section. The Trail of Blood by J.M. Carroll has been copyrighted by Ashland Avenue Baptist Church of Lexington, Kentucky in 1931, but this copyright has not been renewed and the document is now in public domain. In the interest of helping to preserve and maintain awareness, I have provided the set of lectures as a PDF file. I have included a high resolution jpeg image file of Carroll's chart and a zipfile of both for convenient download. The Trail of Blood
